Puglia (sometimes called Apulia) is the region located in the heel of the Italian boot. This strip of land between 2 seas (the Adriatic on the east and the Ionian on the west) is famous for its thousands of century old olive trees surrounded by beautiful dry stone walls; picturesque whitewashed houses and Masserias; ancient cathedrals; medieval and baroque towns.

You can fly into the capital city of Bari where you will pick up your car rental. From the airport, it is an easy drive to the amazing new Luxury Resort and Spa Borgo Egnazia, located a few steps from the Adriatic coastline, near the San Domenico Golf. This is the perfect base from which to explore all the wonderful attractions the region has to offer.
